  • Severe Toothache: Persistent pain that doesn’t go away may indicate an underlying issue that needs immediate attention.
  • Knocked-Out Tooth: If a tooth is completely dislodged, quick action can sometimes save it.
  • Broken or Cracked Tooth: Any damage to your teeth should be assessed to prevent further issues.

How to Handle a Dental Emergency: What Should You Do?

Prompt action can often mean the difference between saving and losing a tooth. Here’s a guide to handling common emergencies:

Knocked-Out Tooth:

  • Handle the tooth carefully by the crown, not the root.
  • Rinse gently with water—do not scrub.
  • If possible, reinsert it into the socket or keep it in a container with milk or saliva.
  • Contact our office immediately for the best chance of saving the tooth.

Lost Filling or Crown:

  • Save the crown or filling and keep it in a safe place.
  • Apply clove oil to the affected area for temporary pain relief.
  • Visit our office as soon as possible to reattach or replace it.

Cracked or Broken Tooth:

  • Rinse your mouth with warm water and apply a cold compress to reduce swelling.
  • Save any tooth fragments and bring them to your appointment.
  • Seek urgent care to address the damage and relieve pain.

Dental Abscess:

  • Rinse with salt water to help manage the swelling.

Contact us right away for treatment to address the infection and prevent complications.

Appointments Welcome!

Jaehee (Jay)

Dental Assistant

Hi! I’m Jaehee (Jay).

Originally from South Korea, I worked as a Dental Hygienist for 8 years before moving to Canada, where I now work as a Certified Dental Assistant. My experience has taught me the importance of providing high quality care and helping every patient feel at ease during their visit.

Since my time as a Dental Hygienist in Korea, I have always valued being attentive and detail oriented. I do my best to create a comfortable experience for every patient, and seeing patients leave with a smile is the most rewarding part of my job.

Outside of the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my cat  ’Thunder‘ who moved to Canada with me from Korea. I also enjoy weightlifting during the week, running on weekends, and spending time outdoors tanning during the summer.

Daniel Wilson

Dental Assistant

Hi, I’m Daniel!

I’m a Certified Dental Assistant, and what I enjoy most about my job is helping patients feel comfortable and cared for during their visits. I love being part of a team that helps people improve their oral health and leave with a smile they’re confident about. Every day is different, and I enjoy meeting new people and making their dental experience a positive one.

Outside of the clinic, I like staying active by playing tennis and going for runs. I find both are great ways to stay healthy, challenge myself, and unwind in my free time.
